Christ Calming the Storm and Gathering the Harvest

1949

Two-light window. In the left-hand light Christ holds his hand in blessing, while standing in a boat. In the left-hand light he holds a sheaf of wheat and a sickle.

Recorded as being the work of the architects Caroe & Partners in the church guide, although the style looks like the work of Alfred Wilkinson.

Given in memory of Hilda Capenhurst (died 1949) and William Thomas Herbert Jenkins (died 1931).

North wall of the chancel

Size: 38 cm (width of each light) Designer: Caroe & Partners
